  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 2 tbsps honey
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • To make this delicious cinnamon-raisin wheat bread, start by gathering your ingredients.
  • Begin by dissolving the yeast in the warm water, allowing it to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and cinnamon. Add the yeast mixture, honey, and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • After that, place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about an hour, or until it doubles in size. Once risen, gently punch down the dough and knead in the raisins. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan. Cover it again and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
