Almond Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 cup raw almonds slightly toasted
  • 1-2 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp neutral oil (such as coconut or vegetable oil) for creamier texture (optional)-
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Spread the almonds out on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast them in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until lightly toasted, shaking the pan halfway through.
  • Allow the almonds to cool slightly before transferring them to a food processor or high-speed blender.
  • Blend the almonds at high speed, scraping down the sides as needed, until a smooth and creamy butter forms. This process can take 10-15 minutes.
  • At this point, you can add the honey, oil, and salt to taste, and continue blending until well combined.
  • Transfer the almond butter to a clean jar or container and store it in the refrigerator.
