What Have I been up to? Liming at La Vega

The timing couldn't be as fitting as when this lime was organised. I was finished with school and the lime was welcoming. So, our church choir organised a lime down at La Vega Estate in Gran Couva. The atmosphere was very serene with the forest all around and with many local water birds making their homes at the pond's edge it made you feel as if you're in a different world. Well, at least I felt that way.

La Vega Estate: A World Away

So how's La Vega Estate? Fine well thanks and yuhself…lol! just kidding 🙂 . Where should I start…The drive, although a fairly long one because of where I live, was refreshing from the time I came off the highway and started driving to La Vega Estate. There were a lot of crops being grown, I think I saw some sweet potato. Then as we drove closer to La Vega we passed through a cocoa estate.

Then we finally drove through the gate where we paid for the hut and everyone including the cars. Now La Vega is also known for their wide variety of plants on sale you should see the orchids! Looks like I may have to go back on a plant buying trip! Anyhow, when you pay for the cars you get to drive straight to the hut you rented so you don't have to worry about security. What I really liked was that you couldn't play any loud music…This was a plus for me since I didn't want this serenity to be disturbed in any way.
