Fasebook – Trini term for Facebook since everyone “playin fas’ and maco-ing dey friends“
Faseness (n) – State of being fas’ e.g ” faseness does pay ” there’s a price to pay for being too inquisitive at times.
Farting Pills – Chataigne, Breadnut (Artocarpus Camansi)
Fatigue – (see Picong) To give fatigue, to ridicule, to poke fun at someone’s shortcomings, e.g “Doh give meh fatigue man, or ah go buss yuh mout “
Fetch – Bring
Fete – A dance, party, jump up, loud music, lots to eat and drink, dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
Usage:
- Fete buss– The fete has been a financial loss
- Fete Match – A friendly game of football, cricket, hockey etc. where the accent is on having a good time with lots of accompanying food, drink and “fatigue”, the outcome of the match is purely for boasting rights

Fire one – To have a drink
Fishenin’ – Fishing (Tobago), e.g. e.g He went fishenin’
Flambeau – A lighted flame made by using a cloth as a wick, stuffed in a bottle of kerosene
Flim – film
Founkie (also, foong-key) – Foul-smelling, stink odour
Footy well – Come what may, e.g. “Yuh footy well have to pay meh back meh money“
Fowlbottom – Pouted, e.g. She mout’ like fowlbottom
Fraid– Afraid
Free gift– A gift yuh buy the fridge, yuh get ah free gift with It.
Friennin‘ – A couple who are seeing each other regularly or are living together, e.g. “Yuh know John friennin’ with Jean now ?”
Fresh Water Yankee– A Trini who, having visited the USA for a short time (usually two weeks), drops his Trini slang for an American accent
Fuh true/troot? – Yes that is true. Is that really so?
Fuh real– Is that true?
Fuh true – Yes it is true.
Full ah mouth – All talk and no action to back it up
Full ah heself/ sheself – Pompous, arrogant
