If you are feeling for a healthy and refreshing milk drink, you should try this pawpaw and grapefruit punch. You will not be disappointed. Its peculiar taste will marvel your taste buds. It has a sweet and yet mild bitter taste. The sweetness in this drink comes from the ripe pawpaw (or papaya) and the condensed milk; the bitterness from the grapefruit. The bitterness of the grapefruit is never totally overpowered by the sweetness of the ripe pawpaw or the condensed milk. It just gets mild giving the drink a peculiar refreshing taste.
An Inspiring Pawpaw and Grapefruit Punch
I know this is a strange pair: pawpaw and grapefruit. Who would think of mixing these two? I just love experimenting with different flavours that could tickle my taste buds This punch did it; this is no ordinary fruit punch! Grapefruit is not at all sweet, it is somewhat bitter and sour with a mild sweet taste. You can use the canned or boxed grapefruit juice instead of fresh grapefruit juice. The concentrated might be too strong so just dilute the concentrate a bit more to your liking. If you are using fresh grapefruit, you should be cautious to not squeeze the rind in the juice. That's where the bitterness comes from.
All in all, this fruit punch is delicious and very satisfying. I feel it might be a good one to drink if you are trying to lose weight. Here is the pawpaw and grapefruit punch recipe.
