Orange Pineapple Juice: The best is freshly squeezed

I am tired of the sugary “fruit juices” that hardly contain the fruit in it.  That is why I decided to make another fresh squeezed juice similar to the orange-mango juice I did some time ago, now I have orange pineapple juice for you all.  Yes, this juice is not diluted with water or has added sugar.  It is 100% fruit juice.   The juice is freshly squeezed.

The sweetness in the juice is from the fruit itself.  For this reason, this fruit juice is highly nutritious; it is rich in vitamin C and a variety of phytochemicals  that can help improve the immune system.   It has vitamin A and other flavonoid antioxidants. These nutrients helps maintain a healthy mucus membrane, skin and vision.  They also help protect the lungs.

Beside all of the nutritiousness of this orange pineapple juice, it is just refreshing.  So go ahead and ditch that sugary commercial juice and make yourself  some fresh fruit juice now .  You would definitely enjoy it.  So here is to one of my favourite fruit juices.  Enjoy!

 Orange Pineapple Juice Recipe

ORANGE PINEAPPLE JUICE

Juice from 6 oranges
Juice from 1 pineapple
A dash of Angostura bitters

Fist, remove the skin of the pineapple.  Chop and place in a juicer or a food processor or blender (blend fine).

The pineapple juice from the juicer.  If you used a processor, you will have strain to get the juice.

Next, squeeze  the oranges and pour the juice into a mug.

Note: Sometimes I like to add a little of the orange pulp to the juice for the extra fibre.

Add the pineapple juice and a dash of Angostura bitters.

Serve chilled.

This recipe will give you approximately 5 servings.
