Dr. Vinson believes that the chlorogenic acid inhibits an enzyme (glucose-6-phosphatase or G6P enzyme) which causes an increase in the blood sugar release from muscles and liver into the body. This causes the stabilization of blood sugar levels which allows for better energy, hormone function, mental clarity, and detoxification capabilities – in addition to weight loss.
