Granola Bars: A Wonder Snack

I just love eating granola bars.   This snack is surely healthy and satisfying.  Granola is known for its high fiber content. I made a granola bar with additional ingredients that would bring greater nutritional value to the snack bar.  It also  has almonds and flax seed meal that will bring the added benefit of omega 3 to this wonder snack.

A Real Wholesome Snack

This granola bar is unlike other granola bars, it is not excessively sweet or made with high fructose corn syrup. So many snacks nowadays have that “sweetness”.  I try my best to avoid snacks made with it. Also, this granola bar is great for those on a gluten free and casein free diet. So, whole families can enjoy it.

However, if you like, you can add other types of nuts not mentioned in the ingredients list, such as walnut. Or you can omit a nut if you have an allergy to it, such as peanuts. You can just replace it with another type of nut that you enjoy. If you want to add wheat germ to the bars, you can do that as well, just remember that you may have to add some more honey and sugar to ensure the mixture is moist enough.

Homemade Granola Bars

This recipe is very simple. It takes little time to prepare, and I am pretty sure you will not hesitate to make it again, and again. So here is my homemade granola bar recipe. Enjoy!
