Here is a simple and tasty cheese rolls recipe for dinner. It is quick and easy to make. My first impressions of this recipe weren’t that grand, but looks can be deceiving. Because of the flour used, this cheese roll is light and melts in your mouth. It goes great with anything I’ve tried like jam, butter or just by itself with hot cocoa or tea.
How to Make Cheese Rolls
The steps are easy. You know I always try to make everything easy to do. This dish involves you making a simple bread dough, rolling it out, and sprinkling it with some cheese. That’s it, nothing extravagant and in 30 minutes flat you have a few steaming hot goodness waiting for you but don’t delay because they go fast.
For variations however, I believe you can “season” the cheese filling to your liking before you add it to the roll. Fresh herbs could really kick it up a notch and the variations are endless. I would like to try this recipe with some fresh basil, rosemary, fine leaf thyme or chadon beni leaves. I could taste it now….
OK! Enough of me day dreaming about food time to do some baking. Here’s Cheese rolls Trini style.
